BMA GP employment law course - managing performance

Common sense dictates that if you employ people, you want to ensure value for money by getting the most from your staff. Those who feel valued and who are fairly and consistently treated will have a higher level of commitment to their employer and the community you serve. As an employer, you need to understand your legal duties in terms of handling performance and work-related problems appropriately. Course content: The Principle of Natural Justice; Dealing with staff grievances; Performance management; Handling disciplinary matters; Absence and long term illness; Disability and sickness absence issues.

North Central and North East London Practice Managers Forum

This is a regular forum meeting organised by Londonwide LMCs. It is an opportunity for practice managers from North Central and North East London to meet together to discuss local and current issues. There is a limit of 50 places at this event and these are available on a first come, first served basis. The meeting takes place between 1.15pm and 4.00pm. Lunch is provided.
