Londonwide LMCs support 24 Local Medical Committees (LMCs). Each LMC, chaired by practising GPs, provides leadership, advice and support for practices in their constituencies and in dealings with their PCT. Find your local committee here.
As part of our service to LMC members, constituent GPs and their practice teams, we publish a monthly newsletter as well as organising topical and informative events.
LMC members are elected by GPs in their locality. They normally serve a period of 4 years and are paid an honorarium to cover the cost of arranging locum cover and travel to meetings.
