Programme Details
Epilepsy affects over 380,000 people in England - approximately 2,500 in each primary care trust. The health minister Ann Keen, in responding to various recent reports into epilepsy services, has acknowledged that services still aren’t good enough. This free conference is brought to you by the Joint Epilepsy Council, the Department of Health and UCB Pharma. It is an exciting opportunity for commissioners and clinicians of epilepsy services to meet and find out how commissioning high quality services can make a very real difference to children and adults living with epilepsy. The event, to be chaired by Earl Howe, Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Epilepsy at Westminster, includes a key note address from Ann Keen MP, Parliamentary under Secretary of State. World leading epilepsy experts will give a comprehensive guide to the needs of epilepsy services in 2010.

Employment law update - FREE webinar
15 Oct 2010

New employment law and ongoing case law create a 'shifting sands' environment and it is difficult for employers to keep abreast of changes. In order to help you to keep up to date with the Government’s policy changes due in the next few months, Londonwide Enterprise Ltd have commissioned Clarkson Wright and Jakes (CWJ) LLP to provide a free lunchtime webinar for GPs and practice managers on employment law updates. The webinar will take place on Friday 15 October 2010 and will last for approximately one hour. If you register for the webinar you will be updated on several recent changes: contracts of employment, discrimination law, family friendly rights and national minimum wage increases.
