This essential seminar, led by Londonwide LMCs www.lmc.org.uk, will give practice managers an overview and greater understanding of QOF particularly the requirements for 2013/14. It will provide hints and tips for practices on how to achieve QOF points for the indicators that your practice meets. Live examples will be provided as scenarios. Practice managers will be reminded of their roles and responsibilities and how to avoid common mistakes.

This essential workshop is run by the Medical Protection Society www.medicalprotection.org/uk to demonstrate the importance of infection control to enable improvement of quality of patient care; providing a safe working environment; and complying with health and safety legislation and national guidance. It includes discussion of important issues such as; the importance of hand washing, handling of sharps and waste, decontamination of instruments, use of personal protective clothing, maintaining a clean clinical environment and staff training.
