Practice Management Training


Londonwide LMCs offer a blended learning programme for general practice managers, which has been professionally accredited by the RCGP (Royal College of General Practitioners).

The innovative course is aimed at those who are: 

  • entering general practice for the first time
  • wishing to update their skills following a break
  • those on a career path within a practice (e.g. senior receptionist, assistant manager etc) or those who are managers in another field and looking to follow a career in practice management

What does the course cover?

This unique course has been written by senior practising practice managers, general practitioners and topic specialists and will be taught by practice manager educators. The course covers topics such as human resources, financial planning, data protection, lease and premises, health and safety, patient engagement and much more. The course is comprehensively reviewed annually to ensure it reflects ongoing changes in primary care.

How does it work?

The twelve-month programme is a blended learning programme and consists of 11 online units and three face to face taught days held at our London offices. The programme includes:

  1. Eleven online units and multiple choice questions.
  2. Three face-to-face taught days.
  3. One practice based competency document.
  4. One 3,000 word written assignment.

All components are compulsory and upon completion students will receive a Certificate of Completion from Londonwide LMCs plus 106 CPD points awarded by the CPD Standards Office. 

What does it cost?

The cost of the programme is £999 plus VAT which can be paid online or by requesting an invoice.
