Practice Pharmacist (full/part-time and flexible options)

Beckett House Practice are a supportive, friendly and innovative practice in Stockwell looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated clinical pharmacist to join our friendly and inclusive team, delivering high quality holistic care to our diverse practice population of 7800.

The role is suitable for an Independent Prescriber, but we will welcome applications from pharmacists currently undertaking their prescriber training, or we can support an application to becoming a prescriber.

Our practice are proud to be safe and high quality prescribers. The practice pharmacist will participate in the daily repeat medicines process with the GPs, including telephoning patients to deal with medicines queries and reviewing patients on medicines requiring specific monitoring, eg DMARDs and DOACs. The practice pharmacist will have their own clinical sessions with appointments to see patients for reviews within their scope. Our pharmacist will also have dedicated time for quality improvement and audit work.

We are part of the well-established cohesive Stockwellbeing PCN, working together to deliver excellent care to our local population, tailored to their diverse needs. The pharmacist will work alongside a team of pharmacists within the PCN and will have access to regular supervision and protected time for CPD and mentoring both in our practice and with colleagues within the PCN.
