We have an opportunity for Community Paramedics to join the team at our practice sites in and around Sutton. A great opportunity to work in an innovative and fast expanding Primary Care Networks in Sutton Surrey. Sutton Primary Care Networks (PCN) was formed from the merger of 23 high achieving GP practices and our services are offered from different GP Practices in and around Sutton, Cheam, Wallington and Carshalton. We aim to provide the best quality care for the local community.

We are in the process of evaluating the way in which we provide care to our patients. Our business plan include to work at scale to develop a service that will fit the needs of our patients that are in line with NHS long-term plan and the aspirations set out in “better health for London”.

Sutton is looking to employ Paramedics under the additional roles reimbursement scheme to work directly with its practices, to support the local acute home visiting service and to provide continuity of care to the frail elderly population. They will be accountable to the Primary Care Networks, working in individual PCNs and across PCNs to support the multi-disciplinary teams and relevant services required. These individuals may also work across more than one PCN in some cases where flexibility allows and for the purposes of cross cover and to ensure general practice resilience in Sutton. We are looking for an individual with Paramedics skills and experience in Primary Care and / or willingness to develop this and other skills if you don’t already have them.

Mentorship and supervision will be provided by one of the Clinical leads, supported by the whole clinical team, while providing patient care at our PCN site(s). The level and type of supervision will be dependent on the post holders skills and knowledge and determined by the organisations clinical governance arrangements. You will follow recommended annual appraisals and continuing professional development set out by the College of Paramedics.

This is a full time post of 37.5 hours/ Part will be considered, we are offering a salary range aligned to AfC band 6-7 depending on qualifications and experience plus NHS Pension and 27 working days annual leave + 8 bank holidays (pro rata).
