London Ambulance Service (LAS) – interactions with general practice

Following discussion with Londonwide LMCs and Surrey and Sussex LMCs, LAS have agreed to provide guidance to crews on the appropriate circumstances to contact a patient’s GP.

CQC accepting new registrations via email only

Applications via the provider portal to register as a provider or manager are no longer accepted.

Materials encouraging specialists to issue fit notes and refer to each other

Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust has produced materials explaining how staff should pass fewer tasks back to general practice, in line with their contract.
