On 18 June Dr Lisa Harrod-Rothwell, our Deputy CEO, was quoted in a GPOnline article covering the launch of our safety resources. On 4 June our CEO, Dr Michelle Drage, responded to the cyber-attack on pathology services and was quoted in Pulse, GPOnline, the BMJ, the HSJ and the HSJ’s London Eye newsletter. On 24 May, Dr Drage’s comment on the stabbing of a GP in Sidcup was covered in Pulse, GPOnline and the BMJ. On 23 May, GPOnline covered Dr Harrod-Rothwell speaking at UK LMC Conference about the need for better ambulance response times when called to GP practices.

A number of our LMCs also signed the Rebuild General Practice campaign’s open letter to patients.

We continue to be very active in promoting the interests of London GPs and practice staff on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn . If you have an example of general practice doing something well which could make a news story please get in touch. We also support practices that are approached with media requests. You can find details here.
