  • This report from the Fabian Society outlines a plan to improve living standards within one parliamentary term. Key points include: 
    • Economic challenges: The previous parliament saw a decline in real disposable household incomes. 
    • Government priorities: Improving living standards should be a key focus for the government to secure a second term. 
    • Strategic approach: The report suggests prioritising, coordinating, and communicating policies effectively.

London Datastore 

  • State of London report – June 2025  
  • This work by the Greater London Authority (the latest update of which was published in June 2025) aims to provide the most comprehensive and up-to-date picture of London’s economic and social realities. 
  • The latest report differs slightly from previous ones in that it highlights London’s performance against a set of ‘London-level outcomes’ that pertain to important Mayoral priorities for the capital. It also covers additional indicators that were cited in previous editions of the report.
