Londonwide LMCs’ London General Practice Awards 2026

  • Latest news

Please nominate yourselves and your colleagues between 1 September and 31 October 2025, ahead of the event in Parliament on 5 February 2026.

Alongside our annual general meeting we will be hosting our inaugural London General Practice Awards in Parliament, recognising the dedication and enterprise of our hard-working GPs and practice teams across the Capital.

We hope to use the event as an opportunity to talk to MPs, peers, journalists and other opinion formers about the challenges facing GPs and their teams at the moment, and to secure their support and allyship.

The event runs in the House of Commons from 2:15 – 4:50pm. You can register your interest in attending before Friday 5 December. Whilst people are expressing interest in attending, confirmation will only be sent out in December, due to limited numbers/ limitations of the Parliamentary venue. We will be trying to ensure that there are attendees covering each of the awards and from areas where MPs have confirmed their attendance.

All categories can be nominated by any constituent and can be self-nominated. The LMC member award can also be nominated by Londonwide LMCs’ colleagues. Nominations open on Monday 1 September and closes on Friday 31 October, a link to the nomination form will be added to this page on 1 September. Individuals are welcome to submit multiple nominations.
