About Us
Carlton Surgery is a friendly, supportive and thriving practice serving a population of approximately 5,000 patients. Our team includes experienced GPs, Practice Nurses and Healthcare Assistants, supported by PCN-funded roles including FCPs, Pharmacists, Paramedics, Social Prescribers and Mental Health Support Workers.
We are part of the Hounslow Primary Care Network (PCN) with 10 other practices, offering opportunities for extended-hours work if desired.

The Role
• 6 sessions per week
• System One clinical system, along with Accurx and updates from Teamnet.
• 14 patients per clinical session
• Allocated admin time
• Shared on-call duties
• Shared home visits (low volume due to paramedic support)
• Preferably 9:30am – 6:30pm working hours
• Two GPs on site daily (variable according to annual leave)
• Start date: February 2026

What We’re Looking For
Core Qualities
• Vocationally trained and accredited GP (preferably MRCGP)
• Strong knowledge of and enthusiasm for general practice and primary care
• Initiative, creativity and motivation
• Positive team player, comfortable in a multidisciplinary team
• Consultative and collaborative approach
• Interest in a clinical specialty desirable (e.g. DRCOG, DFSRH)
• Understanding of national primary care strategies and ideas for local implementation
• Flexibility during busy periods (QOF, flu campaigns, sickness/leave)

Essential Requirements
• MRCGP or equivalent
• GMC registration
• Membership of a recognised medical defence organisation
• DBS check within 6 months of appointment
• Valid UK driving licence
• Current CPR certification
• Registered on a medical performer’s list

Salary
Competitive (Minimum £10K per session) and dependent on experience.
