Contract Type: Salaried GP
Sessions: 4–6 sessions per week (flexible)

Salary: From £11,500 per session per annum (DOE)
1. Job Purpose
To deliver high-quality, patient-centred primary care services to the registered population of Tudor Lodge Health Centre, ensuring care is safe, effective, responsive, and aligned with CQC fundamental standards and NHS contractual requirements.
The postholder will contribute to the clinical, operational, and strategic development of the practice and wider Primary Care Network (PCN).
2. Key Responsibilities
* Provide a full range of NHS general medical services to registered and temporary patients
* Undertake face-to-face and telephone consultations
* Manage acute, chronic, and complex conditions in line with NICE guidance
* Deliver safe prescribing in accordance with local and national policies
* Undertake clinical administration including:
* Reviewing results
* Actioning correspondence
* Managing repeat prescriptions
* Participate in duty doctor rota (1 day per week)
* Ensure accurate, contemporaneous clinical records using EMIS Web
Quality & Safety
* Maintain compliance with CQC standards
Participate in:-
* Clinical audit
* Significant event analysis
* Quality improvement initiatives
* Adhere to safeguarding procedures for children and vulnerable adults
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NICE guidance and best practice
Practice & PCN Contribution
* Engage in practice meetings and multidisciplinary team working
* Contribute to service development and innovation within the practice
* Support delivery of PCN objectives and enhanced services
* Participate in local system working across South West London ICB
Teaching & Supervision
Support training of:-
* GP trainees
* Medical students
* Allied health professionals
* Contribute to a learning culture within the practice
Extended Roles
Opportunity to work additional sessions within:-
Extended Access Hub (Queen Mary’s Hospital)
Engage in leadership or specialist interest roles
3. Workload & Structure
12–16 patients per session (depending on day structure)
Structured clinical sessions with allocated admin time
Mix of routine, urgent, and on-the-day care
Supported by a strong nursing and administrative team
4. Person Specification
**Essential**
* Fully qualified GP with GMC registration and licence to practise
* Inclusion on the NHS Performers List
* Evidence of continued professional development (CPD)
* Commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Desirable
* Interest in service development and innovation
* Experience in teaching or supervision
* Interest in digital health / social media engagement
* Previous experience within a PCN or extended access setting
