Salaried GP

Salaried GP opportunity at The Bush Doctors , Shepherd’s Bush W12 8PP

We are looking for someone to join our wonderful team at The Bush Doctors as a salaried GP for 6-8 sessions per week. We need both a permanent GP to replace a retirement, and also a 12 month fixed term GP for maternity cover.

We are a GMS practice of 11,000 patients with 5 partners and 4 salaried doctors, and are lucky enough to have a fabulous pharmacy team and other colleagues such as a link worker, health coaches, and an ACP. We hold clinical meetings weekly as well as PCN-wide education sessions, and are proud of our open door culture, having lunch together, practice nights out, and a strong team camaraderie.

The Bush Doctors is part of a highly developed PCN that works collaboratively across 5 large training practices with a total of 70 GPs and 200 staff. This means lots of opportunities to develop special interests such as frailty, paediatrics, chronic disease, women’s health, and mental health. We are highly invested in education with 3 trainers on site, have strong links with Imperial, and always have medical students to teach. We would love to have someone with an interest in education and there is the opportunity to teach as part of the job role.

Our PCN also has a research faculty (with both commercial trials, and academic research with Imperial) with lots of exciting opportunities if this floats your boat.

As a PCN we organise numerous social events, including Summer and Christmas parties every year.

We have an established and successful pathway to partnership for salaried GPs if that is of interest to you.

Please email or call me if you have more questions or simply send me your CV to review. No agencies.

Salary £12,212 per session, plus reimbursement of indemnity. 6 weeks annual leave, plus study leave (pro rata). Standard sessions at Bush Doctors are 15 contacts, including a mixture of F2F and telephone. 15 mins for new issues, 10 mins for your own follow ups. Duty sessions are also pro rata.

Interviews will be on a rolling basis.
