International Nurses Day 2021

Ahead of International Nurses Day on 12 May, we are looking to gather some examples of the experiences of nurses working in general practice over the course of the pandemic.

We are looking for written content and we would include your name and the area of London you practice in. The plan is to share your contributions on social media and our website to mark International Nurses Day 2021.

We want to show the positive impact of general practice nursing over the last year and a bit, but we also believe it’s fair for you to highlight the challenges you have faced. The sorts of things that may be interesting to cover are:

  • How you have adapted the way you work during the pandemic.
  • How you have supported your colleagues and they have supported you.
  • Particular patients you were able to help (anonymised).

We are aiming to get submissions collected by Friday 7 May, so if you are interested in writing about your experiences, please let us know via info@lmc.org.uk.
