BMA Referendum on the non-negotiated Contract 2024/25

BMA members wishing to vote in the Referendum have until 27 March. The final webinars explaining the issues are on 20 and 21 March.

GPC England has been holding webinars explaining the background to, and timing of, the pending BMA Referendum on the non-negotiated 2024/25 GP Contract. The London webinar took place on 7 March. Any GPs who could not attend this webinar can join the  Yorkshire and Humber or East of England webinars, both held from 7:30-9:00pm on Wednesday 20 March.

On Thursday 21 March there will be two national catch-up webinars from 12:30-2:00pm and 7:30-9:00pm.

To ensure trade union law is complied with you will need to be a BMA member or join the BMA now to participate in the Referendum itself. Attendees can post questions in advance of each webinar via gpcreferendum@bma.org.uk. The webinars will not be recorded.

Dr Katie Bramall-Stainer, Chair of GPC England, has set out the approximate timeline for the coming months to enable you to appreciate the widest context in which the Referendum is taking place. Any GP who is a member of the BMA and has yet to receive an email with their voting details from Civica Election Services (CES) should fill in this form, the latest you can join the BMA and still vote is 21 March.
