Dear colleague,
Thank you for your engagement with our Lambeth LMC elections! Our new committee has now met for the first time, and I am heartened by the fresh energy! We have the most diverse committee I have known, so we are even more representative of Lambeth GPs.

The committee did me the honour of re-electing me as chair.
As NHS structures are in flux around us again, there is plenty for your representatives to do. Here in Lambeth, our current priorities are the Lambeth GP Provider Alliance (LGPPA) and the renegotiation of our local schemes: the PMS premium and the Lambeth GP Incentive Scheme (LGPIS).
The LGPPA is in part a response to high level changes. As NHSE is abolished and further cuts are made to the ICB, there is a sense that we need to organise ourselves together as GPs for mutual support. We also intend that the LGPPA will be the mechanism whereby GPs can influence the formation and development of integrated neighbourhood teams (INT) in Lambeth.
Our commissioners intend to offer us a refreshed set of schemes, most of which are to start in April 2026. We are having robust discussions about the purposes and principles of the different elements, as well as the operational details. The first change that you will see will be this autumn when the breast cancer screening element of the PMS Premium (which was discontinued last April) is replaced by an incentive to participate in INT.
I truly believe that our new committee will be a great team and really look forward to working with them! Do get in touch via david.moore@lmc.org.uk or james.winstanley@lmc.org.uk if you wish to raise anything with us.
Yours Faithfully,
Dr Penelope Jarrett
