Acting as a supervisor for a doctor with conditions

This month our GP support team poses a challenge: ask not what your LMC can do for you – ask what you can do for your professional colleagues.

Also this month…

Londonwide LMCs’ workforce survey

imageOur latest workforce survey will be arriving in your inboxes on 6 June. The information we gather from the survey provides vital evidence in our work to represent you.

Medical Director vacancy

Thank you to those who responded to our data-validation exercise

Media and public affairs round-up

imageLondonwide LMCs’ CEO Dr Michelle Drage was interviewed by GPonline at our conference, resulting in a piece on GP at Hand and a piece calling for NHS England and CCGs to reduce administrative pressures on practices being published after the conference. Two days after the conference Michelle wrote a piece for the Huffington Post on the problems created for GPs by demand for un-resourced work. On 18 May the BMJ covered our analysis of where GP at Hand is drawing patients from (accessible with BMA members login).

We continue to be very active in promoting the interests of London GPs and practice staff on TwitterFacebook and LinkedIn. We also support practices that are approached with media requests. You can find details of how to get support here.
