The imposed 2024/25 GP contract includes a provision for NHS England to extract data on cloud-based telephony usage. The BMA has taken legal advice on this and are advising practices that they will be in breach of their contract if they do not take the steps requested to enable the extraction.
GPC England emphasised to NHS England that the monthly data extractions should not be used for performance management.
